PROJECTS
CO-FOUNDER, ANGEL
SEPTEMBER 2021
Angel is a drone solutions company that provides complimentary software to optimize natural disaster management. I was responsible of the Vulcan, a wildfire prevention drone.
Compared 13 ML models for wildfire forecasting on the cross-validation set using PyCaret.
Chose the Extra Trees Classifier which scored 87.5% accuracy on the test set.
Built another ML model to recognize fire in a video using InceptionV3 from the Keras API.
Added several layers (dense, dropout and Global Average Pooling) for regularization which resulted in an accuracy of 97.5% on the test set.
Second place among 100+ undergraduate, masters and PhD students from Georgia Tech and Emory.

CO-FOUNDER, BEACON
FEBRUARY 2021 - PRESENT
Mobile application specifically designed for college students to fight social isolation during the pandemic.
Built and designed app prototype single-handedly in less than 24 hours.
Responsible for implementing self-ideated user features (Ex: Sharing testing vaccination and testing data collected from the college's health services before scheduling a meeting).
Finalists with honorable mention among 200+ undergraduate, masters and PhD students from Georgia Tech and Emory University.

MOVIE RECOMMENDER
MARCH 2021
Content-based movie recommender I use on "movie Saturdays" with friends.
Built content-based recommender system for movies using Python.
Created "data soup" vector for each movie, containing movie description keywords, genre, title, crew, and cast.
Applied the CountVectorizer( ) to each movie vector and computed the cosine similarity between each pair of vectors.
Output 10 most similar movies (highest cosine similarity score) to input movie.

3D PRINTED BLUETOOTH SPEAKER
APRIL 2021
Homemade desk bluetooth speaker.
3D printed body of speaker in PLA using Cura 3 on an FDM printer.
Designed wooden side panels using JobControl X and laser-cut them on the Trotec Speedy 400.
Designed and built circuit containing a power supply, step down converter, Bluetooth board, amplifier, and driver.

SAVE THE OCEANS
OCTOBER 2020
Speed Website Building
Designed and built the website using HTML and CSS in under 24 hours to raise awareness around ocean pollution.

COLOR SENSITIVE ROBOT
Research Project, French Bac
Built a color sensitive robot using LEGO Mindstorms.
Associated to each color the name of a "material". After recognizing the color of the block presented to it, the robot would say the name of the material and drop the block in a specific box.
